Here are some of the other final character designs, still unsure about the "Shadow Monster" though.... any thoughts? I'm thinking of making him more of a mist, more smoky.

There are 2 different colors for the "sky fish", I'm leaning towards the white one.... Thoughts?

ReplyDeleteThe Shadow Demon looks OK but I think the problem is that (oh God don't know if this makes sense but here goes) his body looks too sharp, pointy and hard. You're right I think it does need a little bit more of a misty look so maybe if you just softened is body a bit. Not too much just a little bit and make him less sharp it might work?
As for the Sky Fish I agree, I think the White Scheme looks better. It's colours blends it a lot more nicely into your world whereas with the Orange Scheme it looks hard and out of place. Especially when you compare it to your other Sky Creatures which all have a lot more softer, whiter look.
