Been M.I.A......

Hey guys and dolls,

I know, I know, I've been off the radar for a bit. I've been working on my story.
I know I had been going on and on about being an entrepreneur, and I still will be. I've been working on one of my story ideas (ABOVE & BELOW) and as yet I still cant decide if I want it to be an animation or a graphic novel, but I might be able to do both. We'll see how it goes, I have to get permission for some music, so we'll see what's up with that soon. Update soon....

I have been looking for work in the past week so we shall see how that pans out. I think I should be able to get something by the end of October. I have been working on a website and I'm hoping that in about 2 months I should have something up and running. All in all I'm working on stuff and its should be all kicking off in a few.

Shout outs to: Outlaw girl, Jedi, Romance renegade, Hot chocolate, Thing 1 and miss Rhea for all the support. We need to work on those projects asap!! Below is all the sketches I've been doing the past few weeks, part of the "get out the first 1-10,000 rubbish ones". Hopefully I'll get better soon. 3 months till the end of the year... lets make it great!

Hey guys and dolls

Day 4 of my creative entrepreneur plan, still in the first 30 days: developing an entrepreneurial mindset.
Ok so what does this all mean?
Basically I've given myself 9 months to see if I can be a successful creative, "a creative entrepreneur".
This involves all manner of things, such as drawing, making, tax, business advice and so on.
Yeah I know, sounds like a challenge.

Everyone thinks I'll just go into the animation industry as a producer, but I want to see if in 9 months
(pre start-up), I have what it takes to be more creative. So I'm giving myself 30 days to get into it and the rest of the 8 months to see if I have what it takes.... could be interesting. By May 2012 I should be starting to produce some strong work.

I've been updating my all my links and utilizing my "producer skillz" to figure out what I would like to do, what type of creative I might be and more importantly refining project ideas and to-do lists to get this 'ish started.

So stay tuned because as of monday, I'll be posting every day with a specific theme to help keep me focused.

Final designs

Here are some of the other final character designs, still unsure about the "Shadow Monster" though.... any thoughts? I'm thinking of making him more of a mist, more smoky.

 

There are 2 different colors for the "sky fish", I'm leaning towards the white one.... Thoughts?

Any feedback would be appreciated, answers in the comments.
